Community, Connection, and Cooking: My Wednesday Evenings in Ridgefield Connecticut By WA8UNS Thomas Kimball I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to spend my Wednesday evenings volunteering in the kitchen at the First Congregational Church of Ridgefield Connecticut. Helping prepare these community dinners is a deeply rewarding way to support Ridgefield Social Services and connect with my neighbors over a warm meal. There is something incredibly powerful about building community through food and service—seeing familiar faces and meeting new friends as we work together to serve our town. Dinner Details: When: Every Wednesday at 6:00 PM. Where: Lund Hall, First Congregational Church, 103 Main Street, Ridgefield, CT. Note: A suggested donation of $7 is welcome, but cost is never a barrier—everyone is invited to share a meal with us. www.firstcongregational.com If you are looking for a meaningful way to give back locally, I highly recommend joining our volunteer team in Lund Hall. Whether you are a seasoned cook or just want to lend a hand, there is a place for you at the table. #WA8UNS #RidgefieldCT #CommunityService #Volunteer #GivingBack #FirstCongregationalChurch #RidgefieldSocialServices
